Dang that hit too close to home

Some impress me for how they were smartly constructed (Erika is just having Battler wear a ring… but the whole scene makes it look as if she’s raping him instead… fitting with how she’s an intellectual rapist and making the mere scene of her making him wear a ring as something gross and disgusting as how Battler should have perceived it… to be honest I can’t say I like this… as it gross me out… but well, I think that was the purpose of this scene and I was impressed by how the manga managed to accomplish it).

Some transmits the characters feelings so much better than the VN ever did I’m left staring (Beato’s desperation in the manga hit me SO HARD… starting from when Battler told her he wouldn’t break his promise to here… this whole scene comes out so much more awesome in the manga it impresses me)…

Some found creative solutions to deliver a simple sentence (I love how, when Beato said that sentence, the manga showed us young Battler seeing the image of his smiling mother being destroyed and disappearing… and the scene continues to be awesome through and through even in the following panels)…

And there’s so many more (and I’ve cut showing the panels that add more info but they’re in my list as well… :P). Really the manga series is awesome and I can’t get tired to recommend it to people who’re trying to get close to Umineko.
