Nana to Kaoru is actually a mature Ecchi manga that deals with a certain fetish, and that is BDSM. Now if you’re into BDSM like me then you’ll most likely like this manga but it’s not something I would binge read, more like a fun series to read every so often. Currently I am on chapter 53 and enjoying it as I knew I would. Now if you don’t know what BDSM is then you should look it up (incognito) but it’s basically just a fetish where one enjoys seeing another person, usually the opposite sex, submitting to a superior person (sexually), being humiliated and/or tormented. Now I know that sounds hella weird and twisted but it’s actually pretty normal and a popular thing right now, for example Fifty Shades of Grey is all about that stuff, and between two partners who trust each other it’s completely fine and safe. Anyway, onto the manga.

The manga is about a 17 year old named Kaoru who is very into BDSM and despite not having anyone to practice his dominance on he still buys lots of sex toys and stuff. One day, when his hood friend Nana comes to his house to help with something (or something like that, it’s been a while since I read the beginning chapters), she finds a BDSM costume that he has and decides to try it on, because Nana is secretly a masochist. Long story short, Kaoru finds her in it, and Nana discovers that engaging in BDSM play with Kaoru is very refreshing, because Nana is very busy at and doesn’t know how to say no to requests so she’s always busy to the point of not being able to relax. Together they engage in more play and discover more things about each other. They each like eachother but do not reveal their feelings.

Here you can see some of the stuff that goes on. This is pretty much the meat of the story, their meetings to do BDSM activities with eachother, but what s it so nice is their cute relationship (yeah, I said cute, don’t get on to me for that shit just cause I’m a guy). Nana is very popular at and has a very authoritative personality whereas Kaoru is known as being creepy and weird. It’s also pretty damn funny at times.
