Mentaiko Itto is one of the more well known creators of “Bara” () manga, and is possibly my personal favorite. While most Yaoi (s love) manga is actually written by women for a female audience, Bara is written by men, for men. As such, the art style tends to be more masculine, and the stories are often hyper-sexualized fantasy. Not for the faint of heart!VERY difficult to find Bara manga in both print AND English. If you can get your hands on any, they are a great addition to a queer library!
