Boruto and hanabi manga

The Boruto manga is known to have a faster pace and more of a laser focus when compared to the anime. Because of this, many characters in the anime simply have not had a chance to make an appearance in the manga. Naruto’s aunt, Hanabi Hyuga, is one of these characters.

In the anime, Boruto spars with Hanabi, who schools him using her Gentle Fist Technique. Where Hinata uses a variant of the Gentle Fist, Hanabi has a more confident energy and scolds Boruto for slacking in his training. This is evidence that Boruto has a closer relationship with the Hyuga side of his family in the anime than is shown in the manga. This hints that he must be familiar with some aspects of the Gentle Fist technique even though he doesn’t have access to the Byakugan himself. Exploring this connection and Boruto’s Hyuga lineage could be an intriguing development for Boruto’s character in the series.

I just caught up with boruto too. And to be honest I didn’t exactly notice hanabi in the naruto series at all , mainly because I skipped a lot of fillers . Should have just read the manga ..I regret it ..well anyways after the fight/spar hanabi had with boruto I really think her character is cool! . Yea and I noticed her in the naruto last movie xd . So I thought of drawing her . It may not be that good ..but still . Its been a long time since I posted xd

Despite not having focus in the manga, Hanabi showed to be a fierce and strong girl during her training with Hiashi.

From a young age, Hanabi has demonstrated a talent and strong instincts in taijutsu. Despite not being trained as early as her sister, Hanabi showed to able to fight on par with Hinata with only five years old after her solo training, and became very proficient in the Gentle Fist. In the anime, she showed great talent and elegance during a duel with Boruto, able to effortlessly dodge and parry all of his attacks used alongside his shadow clones. She could be seen performing several of her clan’s advanced hiden techniques, able to block or repel anything in her immediate vicinity the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, or attack a target from a distance using the Eight Trigrams Vaccum Palm.
