Despite the nature of Fushi’s condition making the timeline in To Your Eternity an incredibly long one, there is something that has prevailed from the first season, before the forty-year time skip after Pioran’s passing at the end of the first season, and that has everything to do with the first season’s biggest antagonist, Hayase.
