This was my first foray into Manga and what a delight it was. Every important plot point of Jane Eyre was included in this graphic novel. Highly recommended! (Please be aware that Manga is printed back-to-front and right-to-left….as is pointed out in the book itself)

I love how this classic is now in manga form. I just happened to browse the website and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was thinking about this manga and bought it on a whim. I am not good at conveying a story but I loved the drawing of Mr. Rochester. I was thinking about Jane and whether it fit her because she is considered to be plain-looking. I emailed about another classic that I would love to see, ‘The Count of Monte Cristo,’ I had emailed but it failed (hopefully the publishers see this).

I bought this for myself because I enjoy manga and love the classic tale. I introduced my niece to Jane Eyre with it and she loved it so much she’s now tackling the book!
