Manga volcanic age

Volcanic Age is one of those reincarnation comics that start with someone dying but reincarnating as their past self. Basically they are given a second chance at life to either fix their wrong doings or help mitigate disaster/chaos/war. I feel like out of the current popular batch of manga/webcomics, Volcanic Age was one of the earlier ones or at least more popular ones to try out this story setup and it is still damn good at it.

In continuing the theme of one rushed post at the end of the month quickly talking about a webcomic I really like, I really like Volcanic Age. In fact I am surprised I forgot to do a post on it until now.

I am a bit short on time so I can’t dabble on for too long on why this series is excellent, but it is right up there with Scholar’s Reincarnation for that sweet fantasy super strong martial artist endorphin delivery. If I had to compare it to Scholar’s Reincarnation, I feel Volcanic Age is a touch less fantastical (sure the moves are all ridiculous but it is less earth shattering fighting and more grounded).

What Volcanic Age, like Scholar’s Reincarnation also does really well are these occasionally moments of deft intimacy and affection. I just gah love this kind of stuff.
