Shu had been harboring feelings for his friend, Keita, but couldn’t tell anyone and struggled with his emotions. The only place he could let it all out was on an anonymous social media platform. One day, he received a direct message from someone named Sonoda, who claimed to have similar struggles. Having someone to talk to lifted Shu’s spirits, but one day, Sonoda asked if they could meet and talk in person. Although Akihito had forbidden him from interacting with people he met on social media, Shu couldn’t suppress his curiosity and secretly went to meet Sonoda…
The piece includes OTK with slaps in the home and paddling while strapped to a spanking bench in the punishment place, and just a few descriptions of figging.

One thing we’ve never featured at CSR despite our strong emphasis on comics and the fact that spanking is very much a part of Japanese culture has been – Japanese comics (we don’t favor the term “graphic novel”). As we’re going to see the first of several spankings from manga now, we may as well explain why that is, but first let’s go over some of their positive qualities.
First, they are extremely popular, meaning they are produced in great quantity with abundant opportunities for spankings. (It also means Japanese culture is more accepting of comics, which are openly read by people of all ages, than American culture, but that is not relevant here). Second, because spanking is still acceptable in Japan, manga natually reflects this and a large number of spankings have certainly appeared in them. (This is despite the practice of spanking being under attack there by know-it-alls who think they should decide what’s best for everyone else – sound familiar? To make our position clear, we think spanking children is generally a bad idea, but we also think government deciding how parents should raise their children is a much worse idea.)
