Zenshu manga

Since Zenshu is an original story rather than an adaptation of a pre-existing manga, we don’t know whether it’s set to conclude at one season, or if it’s meant to become a continuing series.

I really wanted to like Zenshu. The animation is solid, and I love isekai series, but man does this one miss the mark. It’s hard to believe the studio behind so many great hits would flop so thoroughly. There aren’t a lot of successful anime-only series out there (Zenshu doesn’t have a manga or any source material, for the uninformed), and Zenshu makes it easy to see why.

Zenshu is a major creative undertaking for Yamazaki, whose filmography primarily consists of working on manga and novel-inspired anime such as Attack on Titan, Durarara! and Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun, among others.
