Manga tube de

Not entirely sure how many chapters are in this volume 1 book as I’m reading from an online source, but I read the first 5 chapters today and am logging because it felt like the right break off point as I think it’s where the book ends.I don’t really have many reference points for this as I’m in my early days of getting into manga but… Trashy, very trashy. Not currently convinced it’s any good, the characters don’t seem very layered and the potential for social satire is hinted at but not quite fully there yet if it does show up in later chapters (“Dead Tube” has only just been name dropped by the end of chapter 5). There are a few fun twists, Mashiro Mai makes for quite a threatening and unpredictable villain, and there’s enough nudity to keep things entertaining. It certainly opens strongly with the first chapter.Might come back to this and read the next set of chapters, but a solid chance I may not as it’s nothing particularly striking.
