Fushigi no Kuni de Alice to -Dive in Wonderland- Reveals Main Trailer Featuring SEKAI NO OWARI Theme Song & More Cast

saw this at the library and was instantly struck by the desire to relive my youth. fushigi yugi was the first manga i ever bought and a p solid introduction to isekai imo! much better than the five hundred gamer guy fantasies that are currently iterating the genre. in retrospect i can see a direct line between my love for yui and later stalwart defense of kikyo from inu yasha (sometimes when girls suffer they go through their villain era and that’s their right!!!)anyways the art still slaps and nuriko is a Babe3 stars

Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play Prequel Manga to Begin in Fall

4 stars – After years of waiting between manga releases we FINALLY get book 2… And it only has three chapters???I was excited to see Tokaki, whom I remembered from the original Fushigi Yugi series, and we got more development with Suzuno as an adult. I also spent the whole manga asking myself ‘is this brother Tatara?’ and flipping between deciding if it was Karm or Kasal. My final guess was completely wrong but I feel like I should have known which one it was based on Yuu Watase’s previous character backstories. My only other negative: I’d absolutely love it if we could get fewer scenes of men trying to force themselves on women in all the Fushigi Yugi series. I got bored of it in the original and I was annoyed to see it happen twice in this single book!
